You will have to login using the built-in local Administrator account and either create new local users or do a System Restore to restore it to a time that it was on the domain. The problem is that I cannot get past the signon because of the requirement for the domain. Error- The system could not log you on. Make sure your user name and domain are correct, then type your password again. Letters in passwords must be typed using the correct case.

Make sure that Caps Lock is not accidentally on. If the local administrator password was never set it is likely blank. If the administrator account does not have a password you will need to log on via the physical console of the machine, just enter administrator for the user name and leave the password blank.

The local Administrator account is created automatically when windows is first installed. Try to log on to the physical console of the machine using user name: administrator with no password and see if it lets you in. Could you please let me know as how do I logon to the physical console? I have no clue about it -never done it before.
